His illustrations include the original 1893 magazine publications of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book, and the 1910 edition of Charles Dickens' The Pickwick Papers. ALS, one page, 5.5 x 7.25, personal letterhead, November 1, 1911. Brief letter to Miss Mannock. In full: “I very much regret the delay in sending your book. Please accept my apology.” In very good condition, with scattered toning, creasing, and wrinkling.
