Two octavo volumes. 369; 347 pages. <BR><BR>Blue cloth with gilt illustration on front board and gilt lettering at spine. Moderate wear to spine ends; spine faded. Board edges and corners show moderate bumping and rubbing. Front board of Vol. I is water stained. Pages 97 through 128 of Vol. I have been replaced. Binding is tight and sound on both volumes; both inscribed on the half title: <I>"</B></I>Sir H.B. Ingilby, Bart. from Sir W.B. Ingilby, K.C.B., Lieut. General, R.A. 10 July 1870.<I>" </B></I>W.B. Ingilby served with Lawson's Brigade at the Battle of Guilford Courthouse during the Civil War. This complete account of the Waterloo Campaign was taken from the journals of General Alexander Cavalie Mercer who died in 1868; they were then edited by his son Cavalie Alexander Mercer.
