Cast bronze "Tribute To The First Winchester West" by noted Cody, Wyoming artist (Joseph), issued in 1989, number 2 of only 10 in the series. The left side of the barrel reads "1860 Henry Rifle, cal. 44"; the frame shows19th century style engraving with portraits of wagon train on left, Indian on horseback on right, and Indian boy with dog at front of frame. After being cast the engraved portions were hand chased and engraved.Joseph was a lover of the west and due to the extensive amount of time to make these art pieces, he lost his shirt on them. Original gallery price in Cody was $3,000 in 1989. Est.: $600-$1,200

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
