A fantastic pair of victorian cast brass wall sconces.

Description: A These sconces feature a round wall mount that has a look of a scrolly wreath. There are two arms that reach out and hold the light bulb. These arms have a branch like appearance that hold a daisy like drip rim. Dripping off the drip rim are crystal teardrops. Just a classy, beautiful look. Each sconce has a twisting switch so they can be turned on and off individually. These do not have any markings, but look very similar to many comps I have seen that were made in Spain.

History: This item was taken from a Milwaukee lake front (lake Michigan) estate. It was used in the Milwaukee estate home so it was wired for the USA. We think it may have been original to the house and installed in the 1930s.

Dimensions:

- 10.5" wide.

- Approx. 6.75" deep.

- 5.75" width mounting plate.

- 5.75" height mounting plate.

- Approx. 6.5" between the arms.

Condition: Good. There are some missing crystals. It will hold 16 crystals, but comes with 11 crystals. It is also missing the nut at the denter to attach it to the wall. Other than that, there are no flaws with these stately beauties. These were initially installed many years ago, you would want to have a modern electrician take a look at the wiring to make sure it makes code for the new millennium.
