A large central vignette of a small placer mining camp and a mounted horseman pointing a direction incorporates the masthead. A train and mountains are in the background. Cassia Colunty is located in the southern part of the state. Whereas there is a Shoshone Silver (& Gold) Mine in Shoshone County, this mine is earlier in development and was strictly a gold operation. The Black Pine Mine in Cassia County is still in existence as a gold mine.
