Casino Teller Cage Front. 2 Sections, brass. The Grand Riviera Theater was a movie palace theater located at 9222 Grand River Avenue in western Detroit, Michigan. It took its name from Grand River Avenue. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1980], and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, but was subsequently demolished in June, 1996. The theater was immediately successful, and in 1927 an 1,800 seat annex was built. In 1957, the Riviera was converted to a stage theater. When the Fisher Theater reopened in 1960, however, the Grand Riviera took a back seat. The building was used for music concerts until it closed in the mid-1970s. Afterward, the structure deteriorated, to the point that it was considered unsafe and demolished in 1996. The Grand Riviera Theater was a three story structure built from brown brick in an Italian Renaissance Revival and Mediterranean Revival style. An 80-foot-tall (24 m) octagonal pavilion sat on the corner of the structure. The pavilion had arched, multi-paned windows and substantial cream terra cotta decoration. To the west of the pavilion was the three-story wing with commercial and office space. To the north was the auditorium section which was built with windowless paneled brick walls. The interior design and decorations of the Grand Riviera were very ornate. The original "atmospheric" interior elements included a simulated courtyard, a dark blue ceiling with inset electric "stars" and projected moving clouds, and walls with artificial trees and vines. 19 X 31 inches each.

1. Condition of Merchandise - In publishing these auction descriptions, Showtime Auction Services has endeavored to accurately describe all of the items being auctioned. However, all property is sold "As Is " with no guarantee as to the age, condition, size, quality, rarity, variety, importance, historical relevance or value of the items being sold. This is not an “Approval Auction”. All sales are final. However, should there be a sincere, legitimate dispute, you are asked to contact us and discuss a resolution. We will do our best to resolve the dispute in a fair, reputable and timely manner.
2. Bidding Disputes - The Auctioneer will make absolute and final judgment as to who is the successful bidder of each and every item in the auction whether it be a phone bidder an absentee bidder or an internet bidder. Phone, Absentee and Internet bidding is not a perfect science and there may be unforeseen human or technical errors occur. Showtime Auction Services will not be responsible for any errors that occur with Offsite Bidding. All bids are irrevocable and shall be in accordance with the conditions of the sale and be governed and interpreted by the laws of the state of Michigan. By bidding at the auction by written bid, telephone bid or internet bid or any other means, the buyer shall be deemed to the jurisdiction of the courts of the state of Michigan.
3. Notice –. All final auction and invoice information will be supplied by Showtime Auction Services and all other information should be considered invalid.
4. Winning Notification and Billing – After the Final session of this auction, Showtime Auction Services will send an email with an invoice to the winning bidder. This process normally takes up to 2 days. All final auction results and invoice information will be supplied by Showtime Auction Services or iCollector.
5. Title - Title to all items shall be passed to the successful bidder once the Auction is complete. The winning bidder shall assume Full Responsibility for the lot purchased once the title has passed with no exceptions.
6. Payment - All accounts are to be settled within 5 days of receipt of your invoice either by PayPal, Money Order, Cashiers Check, American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Wire Transfer. If we do not hear from you within 5 days, we will charge the credit card number you used when you registered for this auction.
7. Buyers Premium - A 20% buyers premium will be added to the winning bid amount for all bids.
8. Tax – There will be a 6% tax added to all purchases by Michigan Residents. All other winning bidders will pay a 6% sales tax unless they provide a valid resale number or they are shipping their items out of state.
9. Shipping – All items will be shipped within 21 days of receipt of payment. Navis Pack and Ship out of Novi, Michigan will handle all of the packing and shipping. Their phone number is 248-692-0007. Please be patient with the shipper as they will have hundreds of items to be shipped out from this auction.
10. Grievances - If you have a grievance with Showtime Auction Services we hope you will attempt to contact us in an effort to resolve it. We strive to make our customers happy.
