Cased pair of unmarked Belgian SxS double barrel percussion officers style pistols, circa 1850, .50 cal., 6” Damascus barrels, checkered wood grips, vine engraving to back action locks and hammers, gold washed trigger guards, fore end tips and bu caps with hidden compartments, steel ramrods, crisp actions and both guns in overall excellent condition. These guns are French cased in a blue lining with red compartment piping and includes two wood cap containers, two wood handled screwdrivers, an oiler, a wood mallet, two-piece wood cleaning rod, one-piece wood ball puller, iron bullet mold, a brass bag flask, iron patch cutter, iron powder measurer and a main spring compressing device. The case is in overall goodcondition showing a nicely-grained venire with several small losses and brass corners and trim with one small section missing that can be easily restored. A very complete cased set and unusual in side-by-side configurations. Est.:$4,500-$6,500.
