Cased carving set by H. McConnell, San Francisco, CA. McConnel was one of the early California gold-rush era knifemakers, and this set is the only signed cutlery known to sophisticated collectors. The knife measures 12-1/2” overall, the blade is 7”. The fork is solid silver and hallmarked and matching is baroque design to the knife. The set are contained in their original to the period satin lined Moroccan leather covered case. The case shows some fading and normal aging, and some minor scuffs to the exterior. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
