Cased United States Historical Society authorized Colt Third Generation SAA Hopalong Cassidy Premier Edition engraved revolver, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, silver finish, horn grips, #SA97051 (HC-4). This gun is in overall fine conditionshowing little handling with only the slightest drag line on the cylinder; the engraving is tastefully done with the name Hopalong Cassidy engraved on the left side of the barrel, a raised bust of Hoppy on the left recoil shield, “Goodluck from Hoppy” engraved on the backstrap and “WLB” in silver letters on the left grip and “20”on the right grip. The casing is French style with a US Historical Society plaque and the exterior of the case is leather covered with goldornamentation showing Hoppy on the top of the lid. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.
