Cased U.S. Historical Society Commemorative Buffalo Bill 1860 Army Percussion Revolver, #1122, .44 cal., 8'' barrel, blue finish, extensive gold decorations to frame, cylinder, and top of barrel including stage coach scene, Pony Express rider, and William F. Cody on horseback; brass triggerguard and backstrap, with faux ivory grips. Included is the original leather topped and fitted wood case, powder flask, bullet mold, nipple wrench, and percussion cap tin. The underside of the lid has a brass plaque that reads ''Buffalo Bill Centennial Presentation Authorized By United States Historical Society''. (Key not present). Condition of the firearm and accessories is excellent, appearing unfired and near new, with very minimal drag line and light marks from handling. Case is in good condition, the exterior with scuffs, scratches, a few small chips to the wood finish, and a crack to the lower left hand corner. The detail on the firearm itself is of high quality and would make a nice display piece. Est.: $700-$1,000. (Antique)
