Cased Smith & Wesson Old Model 1-1/2 cartridge revolver, .32 cal., 3-1/2” barrel, blue finish, varnished rosewood grips, #2434. This gun is in overall very good to excellent condition showing approx. 97% original finish on the frame and approx. 20% original finish on the barrel assembly with the balance gone to a pleasing gray patina. The cylinder shows approx. 30% original finish with balance also gone to a pleasing gray patina. The action is crisp, the markings sharp, the hinge of the barrel assembly tight, the bore good and the grips very good with just slight wear at the bottom of each grip. The period case for this gun is in overall very good to excellent condition showing the original maroon lining with bullet block for forty rounds and an old cleaning rod; the exterior of the box is very good with just some scattered scratches and mars to the lid primarily from storage. A truly exceptional cased Old Model 1-1/2. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
