Cased Second Generation Prototype Colt Model 1862 Pocket Navy Percussion Revolver with Accessories

This prototype revolver was left completely in the white. The left side of the frame does not have the "COLTS/PATENT" marking and the left trigger guard shoulder does not have the "CAL 36" marking. The barrel lug, frame and trigger guard are stamped "9X". The cylinder is not marked with a serial number. With a walnut case lined in beige velvet, an empty cap tin, a screwdriver/nipple wrench, a bullet mold, a powder flask and a box numbered to another gun.

Excellent, most of the exterior remains bright with some large patches of very minor freckling. The butt has a series of minor dings. The hammer retains 75% of the case colors with some scratches and fading. The case is good with scattered dents and scratches. The accessories are all very good or better.
