Cased Second Generation Colt Model 1862 Police Percussion Revolver with Ivory Grip, Factory Letter and Accessories

This example has a high polish blue finish, vibrant case colors and silver plated grip straps. It has been fitted with a checkered one piece ivory grip. The factory letter states it was originally a 1 of 500 limited edition revolver that shipped with a black hardwood case to Howco Distributors Inc. on December 9th, 1980, it was returned to the factory on August 16th, 1983 and then it was shipped on January 27th, 1984 to Aeromarine. With a Colt belt buckle and a Klay Associates style walnut display case containing a bullet mold, empty cap tin, powder flask and a nipple wrench/screwdriver.

Near new with some scattered light handling marks and a very faint drag line on the cylinder. The casehardened components retain all of the vivid case colors. The grip straps retain all of the silver plated finish. The ivory grip is very good with some age cracks. The case is very good with some dings and scratches. The bullet mold is good with the remaining accessories being very good or better.
