Cased Reproduction ''Seventh Cavalry Tribute'' Single Action Army Revolver, by U.S. Society of Arms and Armour, #SA1149, with accompanying walnut case, ornately-decorated brass belt buckle and case key, .45 Colt cal., 7.5'' round barrel with standard sights, marked in gold ''George A. Custer'' on left side and ''Seventh Cavalry'' on right, each flanked by ''7/(crossed swords)'' unit emblems; fluted 6-shot round cylinder has gold arrows, swords and various Indian designs on its periphery; solid frame has early-style cylinder-pin retaining screw, ''U.S.'' in gold on either side; two-piece gripstraps are fitted with faux-ivory grips bearing the scrimshawed likeness of Gen. Custer at left, and the 7th Cav. emblem on right. Revolver is finished in deep black-blue with gold accents as described. Condition is as new, retaining 100% metal finishes. Grips are bright and unworn. Action is crisp and tight; bore is brilliant with sharp rifling. Solid walnut case measures 16''x8''x3'', its beveled top bearing an engraved likeness of George Custer above the 7th Cav. Emblem. Case is lined in fine cavalry-blue velveteen with fitted sections for the revolver and accompanying heavy brass belt buckle cast in deep relief. All in excellent, unused condition but for very minor marks to case exterior. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. (Modern/Exempt)
