Fine. The barrel retains 25% original thin blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The frame, hammer and cylinder have a smooth gray patina. The loading lever shows strong original case colors on the left side. There is some very minor pitting on the cylinder and the scene is 95% visible. The trigger guard and back strap retain 98% original silver plating with some small areas darkened with age. The grip is very fine with 98% original varnish remaining, with some very minor lower edge wear, a small chip on the left toe and some minor handling marks. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The custom made, revarnished case is good with minor handling marks on the exterior, and some fading and minor contact wear on the replaced lining. The accessories are all fine with a dark patina on the bullet mold, a number of dark spots on the paper cover on the cap tin and an aged patina on the flask.
