Very fine. The barrel retains 95% of the original bright blue finish with wear on the muzzle and high edges. There are a few tool marks on either side and a small amount of light spotting. The cylinder has 30% blue with the balance a smooth mottled brown patina with some fine pitting on the face. The trigger guard shows strong original bright blue in protected areas with the balance having a smooth mottled gray patina. The frame retains approximately 60% of the original gold plating with the exposed brass having an untouched, natural aged patina. Approximately 60% of the original bright fire blue remains on the small components with most of the loss on the trigger face and top of the hammer. The grip is excellent with a very pleasant mellow aged patina and only the slightest handling marks. The markings and engraving are crisp. The action is excellent. The case is with minor dings on the exterior and some light soiling of the lining.
