Gauge: 36 percussion
Finish: blue/casehardened/silver
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: 7173
Condition: Very good plus. The revolver has a smooth brown-gray patina with the barrel retaining traces of bright original high polish blue finish and traces of blue on the cylinder. There is some scattered mild spotting. Most of the cylinder scene remains. The grip straps retain strong amounts of original silver plating on top of the back strap, butt, and on/around the trigger guard, with the exposed brass having a smooth aged patina. Mechanically functions, but occasionally the cylinder does not rotate due to weak hard spring. The grip is very fine with most of the varnish remaining, a series of minor dings on the bottom, and a couple small chips absent on the bottom edge, along with some minor handling marks. The case is fine with numerous minor handling marks and some wear to the lining.
