Cased Desirable Original Mauser 75th Year Commemorative Model 1902 Parabellum Luger Semi-Automatic Carbine with Matching Shoulder Stock Magazines and Accessories

These were manufactured on a very limited basis in 1979, these Luger carbines were intended to commemorate 75 years of Mauser production. This pistol is accompanied by a Mauser certificate guaranteeing that this pistol, serial number "97" is one of only "250" pistols made and sold world wide. These pistols all have a beautiful Mauser high polish blue finish, straw colored small parts and beautifully multi-point checkered dark European walnut forend, shoulder stock and fully checkered grips. When issued these were almost identical to the original 1902 Luger carbines, and include the 300 meter adjustable rear sight, inverted "v" front sight mounted on a raised barrel ramp and grip safety, differing only in some of the machining on the receiver, some of the various markings and no accelerator in the forend, (which is not required with the larger 9mm cartridge). The top of the chamber area has the new/current Mauser family crest that consists of the Wurttemberg Crest in the center, flanked by a crowned standing lion on the left side and a large Stag on the right, with a gold "DWM" logo etched on top of the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with serial number, "K 097 von 250" followed by the Interarms logo and two line address. The matching serial number is marked on the right side of the frame, shoulder stock attaching iron and shoulder stock itself. The left side of the frame is marked with a silver relief "75 JAHRE/Parabellum-Pistole/Mod. Karabiner". The front grip strap is marked "MAUSER-WERKE OBERNDORF GMBH" and the back of the frame is marked "MADE IN GERMANY". This beautiful example is accompanied by it's original matching walnut Luger carbine stock, two wood base blue magazines, takedown tool, cleaning brush, small plastic Mauser hanging tag, small Mauser Parabellum plaque, brass cleaning rod and keys for the case locks, all stored in an original Mauser leather bound carrying case. Even the cases were manufactured to simulate/duplicate the original Mauser style carbine carrying cases with brass corner protectors and hardware, leather carrying handle and hunter green lining with a leather Mauser banner label sewn onto the inside of the lid. Since this pistol was originally manufactured with a wooden shoulder stock, it has been removed from the NFA and reclassified as a curio and relic with the Bureau Of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and is currently specifically listed on page 38 of ATF publication 5300.11 (2007). It states "Mauser Parabellum 75th Year Commemorative Luger Karabiner with accompanying shoulder stock."
