Fine as custom embellished. The derringer retains 95% of the custom gold finish with wear on muzzle, lower front edge of the frame, the toe, around the trigger housing and high spots of the frame. The hammer, extractor and barrel lever retain almost all of the original blue finish. The grips are excellent with minor handling marks. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with a few minor dings and scratches on the exterior and some fading and minor contact wear on the lining. The accessories are good and with the exception of some old cellophane tape on the box, it remains very good with seal and labels intact.
