Manufactured in 1880 and subsequently custom engraved with gold and silver finish. The revolver is heavily decorated with deep relief floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel and frame with eleven gambling related illustrations scattered through the engraving. They include dice, a stack of money, gambling chips, a derringer, playing cards, a knife, a Colt 45 bullet, horse shoes, headstone, a clock, shot glasses and card suits. The back strap is inscribed "Guns, Gambling God & Glory". The floral scroll engraving extends to the trigger guard, butt, top strap and rear portion of the ejector housing with a floral design around the screw. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, the three line patent marking is on the left side of the frame and the matching serial number is on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The remaining standard markings have been covered with engraving. The ejector housing, cylinder, hammer, trigger and frame screws are gold and the balance is silver. The revolver is fitted with slim profile smooth pearl grips. Complete in a trunk shaped wooden case with brass accents and fitted yellow fabric lining, with plastic plaque.
