'The Official Silver Mounted Henry Deringer Commemorative Pistol Set' Beautiful matched set of reproduction Philadelphia style .41 caliber percussion pistols in French fitted book case with accoutrements. Manufactured in Italy by Aldo Uberti circa 1978 for the U.S. Historical Society with one thousand sets made. This is set #170 with the pistols numbered 170A and 170B. Both are in the following configuration: period style scroll engraving, browned 2" barrel with two inlayed gold bands, dovetailed blade front sight, fixed rear sight, case hardened hammer, lock & trigger, silver plated hardware and hand checkered figured wood stock with trap in the butt containing a spare nipple. Includes a certificate of authenticity and book style case with ramrod, bullet mold, six lead balls(in hidden compartment), powder flask, ebony handled nipple wrench and ebony handled screw driver. Pistols exhibit dulled case colors and show light finish loss on the sides that laid against the velvet in the case. Pistol 170B shows a pin below the side plate that once sat at the surface lever but is now recessed in the stock. Action are in good working order, the bores are pristine and the wood stocks are fine. Condition is NRA Very Good++. ***Antique Firearms***
