Cased Colt Model 1849 percussion pocket revolver, .31 cal., 5 shot, 5” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, agent marked “B. Kittredge & Co., Cin. O” on the left side of the barrel in front of thewedge, #302638. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing approx. 95% original blue and case hardened finish, sharp cylinder scene, crisp action, very good bore, sharp markings, matching visible serial numbers except wedge which is un-numbered; replaced front sight; excellent grips, barrel shows some circular stampings, one over the agent’s mark, traces of silver on brass trigger guard in protected areas. Theaccompanying wood case is overall fine condition showing rose colored lining with usual compartments which contain a Colt’s Patent iron bullet mold with considerable original blue, a spread eagle embossed brasspowder flask and a case skeleton key; outside of case is overall fine.
