Very fine. The barrel retains 50% original bright blue finish with loss due to irregular flaking with a smooth brown patina on the exposed areas. The cylinder retains 70% original thinning blue finish with fully visible scene. The frame, hammer and loading lever retain 85% bright vivid original case colors. The trigger guard and back strap retain 60% original silver plating turning dark with age in areas and a pleasant aged patina on the exposed brass. The grip is excellent with 98% original varnish remaining showing some lower edge wear and a few minor dings and dents. The frame marking has been restamped, otherwise the markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent. The case is very good with a crack running the width of the lid and soiled lining with some contact wear. The flask and mold have an aged patina.
