Cased Belgian double rifle, Francotte-style action, 6.5mm cal., 26” barrels marked “Raick Freres” and “Liege, Belgium” with 4 stage flip-up rear sights from 200-500 yards, blue and case hardened finish, double triggers, checkered woodstocks, added hard rubber butt pad, #2139. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing considerable blue finish on the barrels and the majority of its original case colors on the receiver that also displays tasteful floralengraving; the bores are very good to near fine, the actions crisp and the wood stocks are very good + with several scattered mars and a small chip to the left front of the fore end; butt pad is somewhat deteriorated and should be replaced. The luggage style hard case is overall good with some minor cover repairs; interior lining is also overall good with two snap caps and a metal oiler bottle. A high quality double rifle that would cost $20,000+ to have made today and would require a wait of at least several years. (C&R). Est.: $6,000-$12,000.
