Condition: Very good as restored. The exterior shows a few cracks and areas of chipped veneer, along with some scattered dents. A fine fiddleback grain pattern is visible, particularly on the lid, with attractive varnish. The relined interior is very fine, with rich color throughout, showing only mild handling marks and rubbing from the contents with evidence of revarnish on the edges. Overall a highly attractive display item, which would go perfect for a pair of Colt 1851 Revolvers.
