This beautifully hand-carved wood sculpture was manufactured in China after 1920 and is inlaid with silver wire. It represents a lady in a fine robe, standing on a rocky base. The inlaid floral ornaments adorn her clothes as well as the vessel she is holding in her hands. The finely crafted hair is tied up and a fine smile embellishes her face. The large eyes are adorned with black beads. A deer and an open work bamboo next to her are also decorated with silver wire inlays.

The wooden sculpture is in good condition with minor signs of age and wear, such as cracks, some missing silver wires, minor nicks and scratches. Between figure and bamboo some material loss and a slight fracture is visible. The height is 56 cm, width 21 cm and depth 10 cm.
