Location:The Freemasons Hall - 17 Molesworth Street, Dublin, Dublin, ., Ireland
Cartoon by Tom Lalor."Is it No. 6 Harcourt St?"
pen and ink, signed lower left, framed
25 by 36cm., 10 by 14in.

Four gentlemen smoking and drinking in a club, one positing the question. 6 Harcourt Street is the headquarters of Conradh na Gaeilge. Some of the most important figures involved in the 1916 Easter Rising had connections with the Conradh and with the building at Number 6, Harcourt Street; six of the seven signatories of the Declaration of Independence were members of Conradh na Gaeilge, and the tunnel through which the likes of Michael Collins and other commanding officers of the IRB escaped from the British forces are still to be seen under the Conradh HQ at 6 Harcourt Street.
