This original animation art pencil drawing was done for The Ren & Stimpy Show. The notations say: Sep B/D 22by-SD CS, Mouth, 17. A. B. BB. C. D. DD. R. RR. In this drawing, Stimpy appears to be a bit overstimulated.The show follows two characters - Ren, a crazy Chihuahua - and - Stimpy, an incredibly stupid cat - as they think up to all kinds of hair brained schemes and get themselves into some sticky situations. The Ren and Stimpy Show debuted in August 1991 with a two-part episode, 'Stimpy's Big Day / The Big Shot' and became an instant hit. It was the third Nicktoon ever to be aired on the Network alongside Doug and Rugrats.Original "rough" animation drawing, with the notations in black. Stimpy has been penciled in with black and shaded in with blue. Overall size is a12-field drawing that is 10 1/2" × 12 1/2" Excellent condition Traditional animation is a multi-step process which includes various types of art techniques. Drawings are a key part of the process, in which the animator creates the design and movement of the characters. Drawings are then transferred onto acetate cels (by hand-inking and/or photo copying) to create a production cel, which is then hand painted on the back side, using paint colors chosen and approved by the creator of the series. This drawing is ready to framed and matted. The animator's notations are shown at the bottom of the drawing.

Buyer's Premium: A buyer's premium will be in effect for all auction sales and shall be added to each purchase to reach the total sales price. Entire Agreement; Waiver. This Agreement, including the Universal’s User Agreement and all exhibits and other documents are incorporated herein by reference, set forth the entire understanding and agreement of the parties and supersede any and all other written or oral agreements or understandings between the parties as to the subject matter of this Agreement. In the event of an inconsistency between this Agreement and any other document, which is part of this Agreement, the terms of this Agreement shall govern. From time to time during the term of this Agreement, Universal Collectibles, Universal B&I or Universal Live Auctions may amend this Agreement (including any incorporated documents) by posting the amended terms on any Universal site, emailing notice of the amendment to the Buyer, or otherwise communicating such amendment to the Buyer. Each amendment will be effective immediately after it is initially posted on any Universal site, emailed to the Buyer, or otherwise communicated to the Buyer. The waiver of a breach of any provision of this Agreement will not operate or be interpreted as a waiver of any other or subsequent breach. The laws of the State of Illinois shall govern this Agreement and all transactions with Universal Collectibles, Universal B&I and Universal Live Auctions. REV. 2008-01
