Width 2 3/8 in.<BR><BR>The photo is a studio portrait of two Ute warriors posed with their revolvers, an Englishman holding a scalplock tied to a pole, and a woman seated in front. The man standing in the center is Chief Douglass, a prominant figure in the events surrounding the killing of Agent Nathan Meeker at White River Agency on September 30, 1879.
