Austro-Hungarian contralto (1803–1877) who sang in the first performances of Ludwig van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and Missa Solemnis. AMQS on an off-white 10.5 x 8 sheet, signed below in crisp ink, "Caroline Sabatier Ungher, 24 Juillet 1855." Unger neatly pens nine bars of music and lyrics. In fine condition, with a small tear to the top edge and a chip to one corner.
