Title page is signed by the author, ''Carl Sandburg'' in black ink. Single tome combining both volumes runs 482pp. Bound in moss green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Measures 6'' x 8.75''. Toning to endpapers and edges, pencil notations to front pastedown and verso of frontis photo page and fabric loss to board corners. Very good overall.
