Carl Sandburg.</B></I>" Carl Sandburg won two Pulitzer Prizes in his lifetime; one for his book, <I>Abraham Lincoln: The War Years,</B></I> and the other for <I>The Complete Poems of Carl Sandburg.</B></I> However, Sandburg was many things as well as a writer, such as: mathematician, historian, and a journalist. During his life he was highly regarded for his work in the field of theoretical mathematics, yet he is hardly remembered for anything aside from his writing. He wrote everything from historical biographies to children's stories. He truly ran the gamut through the literary genres. <BR><BR> This 8" x 10" black and white photograph features Carl Sandburg playing the guitar. The signature is in the lower right corner, and is very small but legible. The photo is in fine condition with slight soiling around the edges. This is an optimum chance to own an image of this great author, who had many talents, apparently even musical ones!
