<B>Carl Barks - The Stone That Turns All Metals Gold, Regular Edition Lithograph, numbered 14/350 (Another Rainbow, 1991).</B></I> As the Certificate of Authenticity for this superb lithograph notes, "Carl Barks' legendary 1955 comic book story, 'The Fabulous Philosopher's Stone' tells of the fantasticatillionare, Uncle Scrooge McDuck, who researches a myth in ancient books of bygone pagan kings and an alchemist who fused four metals into a ball of mother-of-gold, thereby making a true Philosopher's Stone that -- by touch -- turns all metals into pure gold!" The overall size of the print is 21" x 25.5", while the image area is 16" x 20". Carl Barks signed the print, in pencil, at the lower right, and the print is in Excellent condition.
