<B>Captains Courageous (MGM, 1937).</B></I> One Sheet (27" X 41"). Style C. This film, based on Rudyard Kipling's classic novel, stars Spencer Tracy as a salty Portuguese fisherman teaching a spoiled child (Freddie Bartholomew) life's values, including the benefits of a hard day's work. Tracy won the first of two consecutive Best Actor Oscars (the second for "Boys Town" in 1938) for this touching drama. This one sheet has minor edge chips and fold wear. There is a couple of scratches in the title. The poster has been mounted on linen and professionally restored, leaving it with a very clean appearance. The nice shot of Tracy and Bartholomew shines with beautiful color. This is a very scarce title to find paper for and this is the first copy of this style one sheet we have seen.
