Tiger puppet from the set of Captain Kangaroo. Charming puppet made by classic toymaker Steiff is made of fuzzy fabric with a tiger print back and plain belly. Structured head features a detailed face, with green glass eyes, pink embroidered nose and transparent whiskers. Hand puppet fits the hand with hollow front legs and a finger-size notch inside the head to manipulate it from within. Its companions, the iconic Mister Moose and Bunny Rabbit puppets currently reside in the Smithsonian. Measures 8.5'' from paw to paw and 8.5'' from top of ears to the cuff. Steiff tag has been removed from the ear. Near fine.
