Captain Kangaroo screen-worn costume, presumably for a sketch that took place in a make-believe woodsy, medieval setting. Robin Hood-inspired costume was custom-made for Captain Kangaroo by the famed design house Eaves Costume. Full costume includes: (1) pair of reddish-brown pants that scrunch from elastic sewn in at the ankles. ''Eaves Costume Co.'' tag is sewn into inseam and ''Capt. Kang / 42'' is handwritten on tag; (2) pair of matching suspenders attached to the pants; (3) matching reddish-brown belt with a gold buckle measuring 44'' in length; (4) matching vest, again with an Eaves tag donning a handwritten ''Capt. / K. 44''; (5) beige long sleeve shirt made of thick cotton material with button-down snaps. Near fine.
