Captain Kangaroo personally-owned scrapbooks covering 1960 and later, containing the Captain's own collection of memorabilia from the height of his longevous career. Treasure trove of material in nine binders includes hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles related to Captain Kangaroo. One entire book is devoted to the rave reviews of his 1960 ''Fun With Music'' live tour, including press releases from CBS. Another documents his devotion to charities, particularly those that provide assistance to disabled children. Most volumes are bound in leather and measure 13'' x 14.75''. One book is missing a cover and two books' covers are detached. Some overall wear and warping to books, toning to articles, else very good.
