Extensive material in seven black leather binders includes hundreds of clipped items such as newspaper and magazine articles, cartoons and advertising related to Captain Kangaroo. Volume one covers 1974 and features an article highlighting a show visit from Alan Arkin. Runs 34pp. Volume two covers 1976-1977 and features articles celebrating the show's 6,000th episode. Runs 22pp. Volume three also covers 1976-1977 highlighting Bob Keeshan's trips around the country. Runs 24pp. Volume four covers 1977-1978 and features an article about Mr. Green Jeans. Runs 32pp. Volume five covers 1978-1979 and features articles stating ''Captain Kangaroo Still Going Strong''. Runs 34pp. Volume six covers 1979-1980 and features a full page ad celebrating the show's 25th year on air.
