Captain Kangaroo color slides of the show's cast and guests, plus index cards of musical skit numbers. This unique three item lot includes: (1) black three-ring binder of promotional color slides and negatives featuring Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Green Jeans, Bunny Rabbit, Dancing Bear, along with other cast members on 2'' x 2'' Kodak slides. Approximately 350 slides and 168 negative strips measuring 2.5'' x 2.75'', all housed in a 11'' x 11.5'' binder; (2) black three-ring binder of color slides featuring guest stars such as Dolly Parton, Pearl Bailey and Ruth Buzzi, as well as shots of location sketches. Approximately 500 2'' x 2'' slides in a binder measuring 12'' x 11.5''; (3) metal box containing large index cards listing show-used song titles, songwriters, and the songs' meanings, along with sketch descriptions from the popular ''Kids Like You'' segment of the show. Approximately 225 cards, each measuring 8'' x 5''. Metal file box measures 8.5'' x 4.5'' x 5.5''. Total weight of collection is 22 pounds. Near fine condition.
