Lot of Captain Kangaroo Emmy nomination notices: (1) Western Union ''Mailgram'' dated 21 May 1983, reading in part, ''…Congratulations!…You have been nominated for a 1982-1983 daytime Emmy Award for: Captain Kangaroo / Outstanding Children's Entertainment Series''; (2) two copies of the nomination notice to Jim Hirschfield, executive producer of Captain Kangaroo, for the 1983-1984 season; (3) congratulatory letter to Bob Keeshan from Emmy's 50th Anniversary Co-Chairman Hank Rieger, dated June 1997; (4) documents outlining the specifications for submitting video of the nominated show to the committee.
