Captain Kangaroo bound scripts from the 1971 season, the year the Captain debuted his iconic red jacket. Twelve volumes contain typed production scripts from January through December of 1971 detailing episode numbers, characters, sketch dialogue, stage direction, prop list, costumes, musical cues, revision pages and more, with occasional handwritten notes in pencil. Bound in red cloth boards with gilt lettering indicating title, date and episode numbers. Volumes each measure 8.75'' x 11.25'' and together weigh 57 pounds.
