Brown bear puppet from the set of Captain Kangaroo. Hand puppet, made by classic toymaker Steiff, features a furry brown body with beige felt paw pads and felt mouth with blush color detail. Structured head and face features a black embroidered nose and light brownish red glass eyes. Its companions, the iconic Mister Moose and Bunny Rabbit puppets currently reside in the Smithsonian. Handcrafted puppet features the Steiff metal pin to the ear. Measures 10'' across and 15'' from top of head down to the slightly irregular bottom edge at cuff. Light staining to red bow around the neck. Near fine, with Steiff tag still intact in ear.
