Featured in this lot is this collection of lanscape and portraits by Canadian artist June Mickle circa 1970's. There are two separate collections in total with a 16 total number of prints. Titles include: Perto Lake, Lake Loise, Mt. Rundle, Bow Lake, Chief Joseph, Walking Buffalo, Many Horns, Dave Crowchild, Wolf, Sitting Bull, Chief Dan George, Geronimo, and Fog-In-The-Morning. Each is signed with the artist name in the bottomr ight hand corner with dates ranging from 1974-1979. June’s strength of character was forged by living in the wilderness west of Turner Valley as a young girl with her mother and her stepfather, Tip Johnson, a renowned cowboy and horse trainer. She learned early to live in harmony with her environment and became a strongly determined woman capable of meeting the challenges of being an artist, horseback guide, businesswoman, wife and mother. The condition of this collection of screen printings is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows little to no wear to the platform the artwork is displayed on. The measurements of this artwork ranges from 8" x 10 1/8" to 10 1/8" x 8".
