Fine. 4) Obv. Sir Isaac Brock, the Hero of Upper Canada. Rev. 1816, Success to Commerce and Peace to the World. Sir Isaac Brock was influential in building the Canadian military for the war of 1812. While war seemed imminent during his post in Canada, he wrote to his brother that the country offered an "uninteresting and insipid life" but an alliance with Tecumseh just before war broke out insured a change to that. He fought several battles during the first months of the war and he was shot at the battle of Queenston [warof1812.ca].
