Signed by Julian Hawthorne as President and John McKinnon as Treasurer. Two mining scene vignettes near center top with ornate scrollwork around them. Hawthorne was the son of Nathaniel Hawthorne. An author like his father, he wound up more famous in England than in America. He spent several months in a penitentiary beginning March 1913 after being convicted of misusing the mails in connection with a Canadian mining operation (copy of description on reverse). 2) Chickamonstone Copper Mining Company, Limited.
