Obv.: Very ornate with coat of arms of Montréal flanked by indigenous people, a lion and a unicorn in the sky above the bridge, a train on the bridge, and Mont St-Hilaire in the background. In the foreground there is a steam ship passing some islands with "THE VICTORIA BRIDGE MEDAL" above everything. In the exergue is "The Victoria Bridge, Montréal the greatest work of engineering skill in the world. Publicly inaugurated and opened in 1860 Grand Trunk Railway of Canada" in 8 lines. Rev.: The coat of arms of England, facing busts of Victoria and Albert and a 3/4 bust of the Prince of Wales in circles. There is a fourteen lines description of the bridge facts with the cost of 5 Million dollars. Extra Fine, WM-51, 41.5 grams. Edge: Plain.
