Sardinian statesman (1810–1861) whose diplomacy paved the way for Italian reunification. ALS in Italian, signed “C. Cavour,” one page, 5.25 x 8.25, May 5, no year. Translated in full: “The undersigned requests the head of the Livorno Station to convey as soon as possible the enclosed documents to the Minister of the Interior.” In very good to fine condition, with moderate scattered creases, light uniform toning, and a few spots of soiling.
