This features a relief hand carved Carnelian shell cameo & silver brooch. The piece was appraised by Greenleafs Jewelry Inc. in Bozeman, MT as being the following: One cameo brooch. Silver frame brooch mounting with hinged pin and “C” shaped pin catch set with one oval, 28mm x 23mm, shell cameo carved with one woman. 2.30 DWT. Valued over $200.00. The piece appears to be from the 18th to19th century and is from the Anne Moore Estate, direct relative of Elias Boudinot President of the Continental Congress 1782-1783.
