This features a relief hand carved Sardonyx shell cameo & yellow gold necklace pendant. The piece was appraised by Greenleafs Jewelry Inc. in Bozeman, MT as being the following: One cameo, pendant. Yellow gold pendant mounting set with one approximate 53mm x 43mm, oval, Sardonyx shell cameo, carved with one standing woman with raised arm and dish in hand and one sitting man with one hand extended. Back of cameo has cracks, scratches and some damage. 8.47 DWT. Valued over $550. The piece appears to be from the 18th to19th century and is from the Anne Moore Estate, direct relative of Elias Boudinot President of the Continental Congress 1782-1783. Possibly directly from the Elias Boudinot Continental President Estate. Please review pictures for age and condition. Measures 2.5”x1.75”. Appraisal pictured is included.
