This Cambridge Caprice pattern footed compote is a stunner!

Made of breathtakingly beautiful ruby glass, it stands 6 1/2 inches tall. Its 6-inch wide top has a scalloped edge with a 1 1/2-2 inch deep bowl. That this compote is handblown is indicated by the bubbles in its 3-inch long and 1-inch thick stem. Its foot is 1 inch high and 3 1/2 inches across on the base. It is unmarked.

Red colors such as this ruby are manufactured using gold. The gold imparts not only the red color but a yellow glow in places of a piece. Photos for this piece are taken with and without flash in order to show the details of the color and the Caprice pattern.

This compote is in near mint condition!
